Archbishop's visit 'encouraged us in our faith.'

The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby's official visit to the Diocese last week was a great success. He followed a busy programme and met community volunteers and business leaders, students, and young people across the Diocese. You can read our news report here.

Prayers for Ukraine continue as bishops call to pledge further support


As the situation in Ukraine continues to develop, Bishop Ruth has urged individuals, communities and parishes in the Diocese to support the Sanctuary Foundation. All three bishops have supported the call. You can read more here

Churches are in an ideal place to bring communities together for the four day Bank Holiday from 2-5 June 2022 when the nation will celebrate HM the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

HOPE Together is working with Thy Kingdom Come, the Methodist Church, Biblica and others to bring churches resources to mark the occasion. Hope resources can be found here
